Lancaster Quilt Show and Vermont Quilt Show trips are ON for 2008! Sign-ups have begun and they are ALREADY filling up! More detailed information will be available at our monthly meeting, but at press time these are the important things you need to know:
LANCASTER: $150, payment deadline January 15, 2008. Leave early Friday morning (March 28), shop 'til we drop at
Sauders/Burkeholders/Zooks/CountryStore, gorge at Miller's Smorgasbord, spend the night and enjoy breakfast at the
Fairfield Inn, Quilters' Heritage Show on Saturday, home late Saturday night.
VERMONT QUILT FESTIVAL: ESTIMATED at $300 - cost subject to change, we have plenty of time yet, but we do
know that our payment deadline will be April 15, 2008. A TWO-NIGHTER! At press time our rough plan is as follows,
but is subject to slight change: Leave on Friday morning (June 27), lunch/shopping on your own in Manchester Village,
VT, dinner on your own (your choice of FIVE restaurants), a NEW QUILT SHOP (with a nice promotion for us!) in the
afternoon, overnight stay and breakfast at the Fairfield Inn, VERMONT QUILT FESTIVAL all day Saturday, dinner at
Trader Duke's, overnight stay and breakfast, Shelburne Museum guided tour Sunday morning, lunch (may be included in
trip cost, may be on your own, details not finalized yet) in Middlebury, VT, arrive home Sunday evening. Phew!
Make your checks payable to NSQG with a note about which trip (separate
check for each trip, please). As usual, our trips will be open to non-members
after the payment deadline date. Friends, relatives, welcome before that with a
