We will start this month collecting prizes for our third Sweepstakes at the World of Quilts. If you have books, fabrics, buttons, beads, etc. that you think our attendees at the show would like you may bring them to any meeting. We will have bags available in which to place your contributions and each month we will request specific items.
This month, we would appreciate it if everyone contributed spools of thread and 31/2" strips of any beautiful color of fabric.
We are looking for a few creative members who would like to spend a morning a few times during the year folding, wrapping and packaging items to give a festive presentation to the display of prizes. Noreen Graham, our librarian, is the first to join our sub-committee and of course you can always find her at the meetings to field questions or you may contact her directly.
